> The best outfit planner apps covered here are Outfello, Stylebook, Acloset, Cladwell, Whering, Pureple and Smart Closet, seven apps that plan what to wear from clothes you already own. They split into apps that log outfits on a calendar and apps that suggest outfits against the forecast. Several of them do both, usually with the suggestions behind a paid tier.

The best outfit planner apps answer one of two questions: "what did I wear?" or "what should I wear?". Calendar-first apps are good at logging and scheduling looks; suggestion-first apps look at the forecast and your closet and propose something. This page compares seven, in no particular order, on how they plan, what they check and what they charge.

## The apps, one by one

**Outfello.** A browser-based wardrobe with an outfit builder (jacket, top, bottoms, shoes and accessories slots, each with a colour filter) and, on paid plans, a daily planner for today or tomorrow. The planner checks feels-like temperature, rain and wind against each garment's warmth, coverage, rain protection and wind resistance, uses colour schemes such as tonal or neutral with an accent, skips laundry, avoids the top from the last two days and labels each suggestion by how much it could check. An outfit calendar shows planned and worn days. It has no packing lists. See the [outfit planner](http://localhost:3000/use-cases/outfit-planner) page.

**Stylebook.** An iPhone and iPad app with a detailed calendar: build outfits from items logged on a day, copy looks between days and track recording streaks. Packing lists and statistics are strong, and it is a one-time purchase. It does not suggest outfits from the forecast, as far as could be found.

**Acloset.** Suggests daily outfits based on weather and schedule, has an outfit calendar, an AI stylist chat and an avatar try-on made from one full-body photo. Free with an item cap and ads; paid tiers scale with closet size.

**Cladwell.** Built around capsule wardrobes. It sends daily outfit suggestions based on your closet, the forecast and how often you wear each piece, and lets you restrict suggestions to a capsule such as work clothes.

**Whering.** A social wardrobe app with outfit shuffling, AI outfit suggestions, a calendar planner and packing lists with reminders.

**Pureple.** Calendar planning, packing lists that organise themselves for a trip, AI outfit feedback and try-on on an AI model. Premium is sold weekly, monthly or yearly.

**Smart Closet.** AI outfit combinations, calendar planning, weather-based recommendations and try-on on a model, with in-app shopping alongside.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which outfit planner apps check the weather?

Outfello, Acloset, Cladwell and Smart Closet all suggest outfits with the forecast in mind. Outfello's planner, on paid plans, compares feels-like temperature, rain and wind with each garment's warmth, coverage and rain protection.

### Which apps have packing lists?

Stylebook, Whering and Pureple describe packing lists. Outfello has no packing-list or trip feature; saved outfits can serve as a manual checklist.

### Can an outfit planner stop me repeating the same clothes?

Some can. Outfello's planner avoids repeating the top from the last two days and skips pieces marked as in the laundry, and Cladwell says it considers how often you wear an item.

### Do I need to photograph every item?

Most planners work best with a photo per item. Outfello detects every garment in an outfit photo or mirror selfie, so one photo can add several pieces.
